Design Morphology (2014-2019)
As a part of the technology curriculum modulefor undergraduate students, first year and second year students have mandatorycourses in Morphology. I taught Morphology workshops with first year andsecond year students for several years as I graduated from my master inArchitecture.
In the Morphology workshops with first year and second year students, they explored shape generation physically and digitally in a feedback loop process. Aside from the technicality of generating objects digitally, they explored the relationship between material and form to gain an experience of formal exploration through the iteration between physically making artifacts and exploring digital generation of the same object. Below is a sample of student work.
While working on my PhD thesis, I participated in a graduate design studio that included courses on urban data analysis with QGIS and parametric design using Grasshopper in Rhino. For several years, I taught in the this studio. I provided tutorial to students on QGIS and rhino as well as guidance during design critiques. Below is a sample of students final project.
